This is my first book. I wrote this out of my personal pain and the collective pain that we share as Africans. Join me through the pages of this anthology of poems. The title of this book was inspired by the poem Uhuru meaning freedom, because Africa remains in economical and intellectual bondage it is still not Uhuru. The anthology is about my reflections on various socio-economic issues and matters of the heart. It touches on a wide variety of topic. I welcome you to share a part of myself. When reading the work of other poets I always felt that I am sharing the very soul of that individual.
